Awards, Reviews & Star Ratings

UK Review This does not, strictly speaking, fall into the category of 'new fiction', but it feels like a new book as it has now been published with new illustrations by Quentin Blake. This wonderful story of how Danny and his father thwart the important shoot by doping the pheasants loses none of its originality and freshness. The relationship between father and son is a touching one and the story is a delight for parents and children to share. (8 yrs +) (Kirkus UK)
