Description of this Book

What is in the gigantic sack that famous swagman Russian Jack carries round the country? Everyone has an opinion but nobody knows for sure. Tania Atkinson has used the tale of the swagman's mysterious bag as background for a charming story about three greedy animals who follow Jack in his travels in the hopes of getting something to their own advantage! Enlivened by the detailed illustrations of Viv Walker, this fun-filled rhyme is both engrossing to look at and great to read aloud. Ideal to share with little ones or for newly independent readers.
