Author's Bio
During his lifetime (1948-2022) Graeme W Sturgeon was a Kiwi soldier in Vietnam, deer culler, possum trapper, pest control officer, helicopter pilot, youth trainer, inventor, whistle blower, and author. From the 1980s he became a resolute figure in the resistance movement against the government's use of poisons in wildlife habitat. His experiences underlie his three works of fiction, Dustoff for Willie Peters (1998), Beneath the Southern Cross (2008), and Hunters and the Hunted (2014). Interviews with Graeme Sturgeon can be watched on Youtube under the titles The Crown v Graeme Sturgeon, and Graeme Sturgeon A Bushman Speaks.
