Description of this Book

It's 2007. At forty-five, Lisa is fighting growing feelings for Tom that threaten to rob her of Dan, the person she's always loved most in the world. She wants Tom badly, but she can't (or won't) tell him about Dan, and Tom finds himself in a competition that he can't possibly understand. Dan brings Lisa a joy she can't bear to explain, but with her chance for a life with Tom slipping away, she must finally find the courage to let Dan go. It's the most terrifying-and liberating-decision she's made since a fateful night 25 years ago.

Author's Bio

Elizabeth Coleman first came to attention with her dark comedy Its My Party (And Ill Die If I Want To), which premiered at the 1993 Melbourne Comedy Festival and has been regularly produced ever since. In 1999 Elizabeths next play, Secret Bridesmaids Business, broke box office records in Melbourne before embarking on a triumphant national tour in 2000 and being adapted into a telemovie, produced by Linda House for ABC Television. Secret Bridesmaids Business has also been produced many times, including a musical production in Tokyo by Takarazuka Creative Arts. Elizabeths comedy about love gone wrong, This Way Up, premiered in Melbourne in 2001. Elizabeth has also written many screenplays for television, most recently Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries. She co-created and co-wrote the popular drama series Bed of Roses, with Jutta Goetze, for Southern Star and ABC Television. Almost with You premiered at Melbournes La Mama Theatre in 2012.
