Laurel Canyon, a feature-length documentary that pulls back the curtain on the mythical world of Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles, providing an up-close look at the lives of the musicians who inhabited it. Through a wealth of rare and newly unearthed footage and audio recordings, the... documentary will feature an intimate portrait of the artists who created a music revolution that would change popular culture. Directed by Alison Ellwood (History of the Eagles) Celebrating the music of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, The Mamas And The Papas, Carole King, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, James Taylor, The Doors, Frank Zappa and more, the film will be uniquely immersive and experiential, taking us back in time to a place where a rustic canyon in the heart of Los Angeles became a musical petri dish. Said director Alison Ellwood, Though a little too young to have experienced the Laurel Canyon music scene first hand, the songs created in that magical place made it onto the radio and travelled over 6000 miles to where I was growing up in the UK. The music is the soundtrack of my youth; each song evokes memories becoming timeless in my consciousness. I am thrilled to be a part of this talented team assembled to tell this incredible story. Having personally lived through this musical period of time, Im incredibly excited to be involved in telling this story, especially given the amazing team weve assembled to make what we intend to be the definitive documentary on the Laurel Canyon scene, said executive producer Frank Marshall. Said Craig Kallman, Chairman & CEO, Atlantic Records, In Laurel Canyon, all the stars aligned to kindle a creative community unlike any other in modern musical history. Brought together during a cultural sea change, these artists inspired themselves and each other to make transcendent music that remains as vibrant and relevant today as it was a half century ago.

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt on 12th June 1929 and this year she would have been 90 years old. The documentary film tells the story of her life through the pages of her diary: an extraordinary text that has made the tragedy of Nazism known to millions of readers all over the ...world, and revealed the brilliant, enlightening intelligence of a young girl who wanted to become a writer. Annes story is intertwined with that of five Holocaust survivors, teenage girls just like her, with the same ideals, the same desire to live, the same courage: Arianna Szrenyi, Sarah Montard, Helga Weiss and sisters Andra and Tatiana Bucci. Helen Mirren will introduce audiences to Annes story through the words in her diary. The set will be her room in the secret refuge in Amsterdam, reconstructed in every detail. Off the set, a young girl, will lead us on a journey to get to know the places that were part of Anne Franks short life and her feelings. She wants to know about the story of the Jewish teenager who became a symbol of the greatest tragedy of the 20th Century, and she also speaks to us through social networks. In fact, photos and posts are her language, and in this way she gives us her interpretation of what she discovers, sees, from the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany (where Anne and her sister Margot died) to the Holocaust Memorial in Paris, up to and including her visit to the secret refuge in Amsterdam.

The insane true story of the heist that shocked the Art World! The equally mysterious and notorious artist Banksy dominates tales from the world of street art, but in The Banksy Job, the spotlight shines on another characterthe gritty, charismatic, and larger-than-life, AK47an ex...-porn star and acid rave promoter turned self-anointed art terrorist. Declaring himself the villain to Banksys hero, AK47 sets out to swipe a well-known piece of Banksys public art, in broad daylight, in Central London, no less. The ensuing heist thriller is told to us by AK47 himself, and a highly entertaining art-world caper begins. Blurring the lines between what is fiction and what is fact, Ian Roderick Gray and Dylan Harvey's debut film is a rollicking ride, a frenetic and adrenaline-fueled crime caper that catapults its audience from the London art scene to its underground, making for a feature film experience (almost) as wild, unbelievable, and insane as its protagonist.

Nestled in an isolated mountain region deep within the Balkans, Hatidze Muratova lives with her ailing mother in a village without roads, electricity or running water. Shes the last in a long line of wild beekeepers, eking out a living farming honey in small batches to be sold in... the closest city a mere four hours' walk away. Hatidzes peaceful existence is thrown into upheaval by the arrival of an itinerant family, with their roaring engines, seven rambunctious children and herd of cattle. Hatidze optimistically meets the promise of change with an open heart, it doesnt take long however, before a conflict evolves that exposes the fundamental tension between nature and humanity, harmony and discord, exploitation and sustainability. The debut feature from documentarians Ljubomir Stefanov and Tamara Kotevska, HONEYLAND is made with the widescreen sweep of an epic, yet clearly built from an intimate collaboration between filmmakers and subject. With a surprising sense of humour, its a tough and tender portrait of the delicate balance between humankind and nature, a glimpse at a fast disappearing way of life, and an unforgettable testament to one extraordinary womans resilience.
